If you want to take in the city and its wonderful architecture, then walking has to be your preferred way to get around. There are loads of sights to see around Agra, and when you walk you can have a look at the snake charmers and street stalls that dot the city. Taj full day tour(07:00-21:00) from Delhi to and around Agra.
Including breakfast, buffet lunch, evening snacks,
visit Sikandra Tomb, Agra Fort, English speaking guide in Agra.
The tour was well organized, excellent food - good combination of Indian & western.
The local guide was commission oriented busy in taking us from one store to another.
Booked the tour by net, no payment in advance.
Rates per person: Rs. 1,500
not including:
entrance fees Rs. 750 for Taj Mahal, Rs. 250 for Agra Fort

We hired an A/C Indica to go to Fatehpur Sikri from Agra. It cost 900 rupees. We gave another 350 rupees to the driver and we had the car for about 12 hours from 10 in the morning till 10 in the night. We went to Fatehpur Sikri, back to Agra, from there to Agra Fort, Sadar Bazaar, back to our hotel Howard Park Plaza and from there to Agra Cantt station in this amount.
As a thumb rule in Agra, you will have to pay 10 rupees per person for a rickshaw which is the local mode of transport. The minimum is 30 rupees and after that the charges are per person. This is what we observed. Theme: Car/Motor Home
