Favorite thing: Arts Centre and movie theatres:
Asansol has a nice history of bengali Arts and culture.The centre of cultural programs is Rabindra Bhaban near BNR .It's visible from the "BNR More".There are cultural programs and movies on regular besis.The latest shows are updated and advertised in fronty of the theatre.
Chitra and Manoj movie theatres are the most popular in Asansol.These are single screen movie theatres.But latest hindi and bengali movies are screened.Other than these are 3-4 movie theatres.
Similar to Rabindra Bhaban , there is Bharati Bhaban in Burnpur just few kilometeres away.
