if you love potatoes then we have something famous in darjeeling..its the local favourite......its alu bhuja...its a kind of snacks ...chilly potato grave with mixture of bhujiya kind of snacks in india......you get it best near beneis or near rink cinema...........now the inox hall.. Located in a quiet corner of Darjeeing, this is the BEST restaurant I've been to in Darjeeing during my 4-day stay. The dishes were nicely display, detaily made. Restaurants with nice & comfortable decorations, playing old & tasteful western music (jazz, Eric Clapton, Reggae, etc.). Owner & chef were friendly & love to talk to customers & asked for comment to further improve. I was there early evening (around 7pm) and this place was PACKED with locals.
