I wandered around the shops in sector 17 for a while and stumbled across this very strange sight. Dozens of guys sitting at little desks typing on typewriters! • bradbeaman's Profile Photo

by bradbeaman Written Nov 26, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Warning the roads are great in Chandigarh. Why the warning?

My taxi driver came into the city at 80 kilometers per hour. I saw a smashed 3 wheeler at the circle that looked like the vehicle that hit it broadside and practically disintegrated it was going at least 80 kilometers per hour. Good roads, high speeds; warning.

Chandigarh Off The Beaten Path

  • Place with so many plants!

Designing of Chandigarh is very interesting. It is split in many, quiet big sectors and between them there are a lot of trees and bushes. That makes the city look very green and nice, but from other side this division in sectors makes it very big and quiet complicated for people who are traveling by car.
