Favorite thing: A very modern and 'flat' monument, it's a kind of open patio to where people use to come to pray and put flowers in Gandhi's memory.

Favorite thing: Visit the Raj Ghat. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948), byname Mahatma (“Great-Souled”), the father of the nation, was assassinated on January 30th 1948 soon after India attained its freedom. On the spot where he was cremated on the banks of the river Yamuna is the Raj Ghat, a simple square platform of black marble and eternal flame, surrounded by a garden. Gandhi´s last words are inscribed on this platform. The Gandhi Memorial Museum is just across the road. It houses many belongings of Gandhi and photographs from his life.
