    Birla Mandir is one of Delhi's main tourist attractions. It is a Hindu temple built by the Birla family. It is fairly new, built in the 20th century. The temple is dedicated to Vishnu. Hindu's do come to worship at the temple but it is also filled with many foreign tourists at any given time.

    Since th temple is a place of worship, it is customary to remove your shoes before entering and when inside, no pictures are allowed.

    The Birla Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple) : This temple was build by G. D. Birla in 1938. This beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of prosperity and good fortune. The temple has well grafted gardens. It is also known as the Birla Mandir.
