Eating out in Delhi can be quite expensive as compared to Mumbai,and the better restaurants are in the 5 stars.
Here are a few:
Bukhara at the Maurya Sheration-kebabs and more,
Italianni's at the Radisson Hotel-Italian,
La Piazza at the Hyatt Regency-Italian,
Dum Pukht at the Maurya Sheraton-where the Clintons dined on Lucknowi food.
Brik at the Grand Hyatt(a 7star)-European cuisine, Orient Express-at the Taj Palace.
The non-five stars..
Basil and Thyme at Santushti Shopping Complex-fabulous Continental food and pleasant ambience..mmm!!Open for lunch only.A must visit!Reserve a table before you start your shopping!Reasonable,
Turquoise Cottage from the Orient at Aurobindo Marg-lovely Thai!,
Colonel's Kababz in the Defence Colony Market-lots of good kababs!Though the ambience isn't fascinating.Reasonable,
Sagar in the Defence Colony Market-good South Indian food(dosas,idlis etc)Very Reasonable,
Soul Kitchen opp the Park Royal-mostly continental,
Evergreen in Green Park Market-mmm..Delhi's authentic Chhole Bhature!Very Reasonable.
also,do visit the two restaurants at The Imperial Hotel(Janpath)
err...that's if you have any money left after eating out so much!!!
Favorite Dish: chhole bhature,kashmiri biryani,and kebabs!

Pure Vegetarian Food with Continential Cusine, visit the Iskon temple and eat there.
Favorite Dish: Fixed Thali food with sweets Rs 90 the food see in the Thali.

This is a nice Italian restaurant in Delhi.Where you can try a nice Italian Piza.Also the Pasta is well-done.
Suggested for those who are tired of Indian kitchen.
