Each day spent in Delhi included a lunch or dinner at Karim's. In search of halal food, with the taste of kabab's eaten on an earlier trip still lingering in my mouth, I had to make the most of my Delhi trip. The restaurant isnt visible frm the road, if you are new here you need to make a few queries to make sure to land in front of a table full of kebabs and tandoori roti's.
Favorite Dish: Kebabs, mutton burra or for that matter anythign you can lay your eyes on...

One of the most popular restaurants, with locals and tourists alike, is Karim's. Located in the heart of Old Delhi and with one branch at Nizamuddin.
The restaurant has a bit of history behind it.
The owners' great grandfather was the chef in the the Mughal emperors royal kitchen... The recipies, therefore, have been passed on from those times. Its a popular restaurant which has found mention in the best travel journals.
Favorite Dish: The kebabs are always amazing, as is the `jahangiri chicken' and my favourite bread is the `sheer-mal'.

After your meal, sthg like green grain would be presented on your table. It's digestant and tasty... But I strongly suggest not to buy this home. I bought some back to Taiwan and I had never eaten this.
