DRESSING esp for Women!
In Lakshadweep, 98% of the population are Muslims and hence one has to respect he local customs and avoid offending the locals. Though they are conservative yet the are very liberal in approach and tolerant .Its ok to wear Bikinis and swimsuits on the beaches, but see to it the bikinis are not too skimpy like G-strings or Dental Floss Bikinis. while Sunbathing.. be at the resorts and do not sunbathe in isolated spots as you may face local harrasment. Also while going out in the Village side... "DRESS MODESTLY" and do not roam around the town in Spehetti Straps or clothes that reveal too much as there would be crowds gathered around you to have a glimpse of your assets.... REMEMBER! LAKSHADWEEP IS NOT GOA!
