the best times for taking a stroll on the promenade is the early morning before sunrise(dramatic) or the late evening.
afternoon sun can be a bit harsh.
remember this is the very ocean which had unleashed killer waves of the tsunami.
some beautiful hotels lie along the promenade with sea facing rooms.nothing can replace a walk before the sun rises.and you can see the eastern seabord lighting up slowly.
do not venture out alone always be in a group.
some few interesting buildings lie along the promenade with french architectural overtones.
the sunrise could be followed up with a yoga session.
enjoy the beautiful morning air.
