overtaking on ECR(east coast road)

there is no lane separation on the east coast road.that is you face the oncoming traffic head on.due to the excellent condition of the road drivers fail to recognize the limits of their vehicles leading to many a ghastly tragedy.overtaking can be thrilling but can be killing too.please ask your driver/yourself not to overspeed especially do not overtake unless the road in front of you is absolutely clear.at night there are cat eyes which give you the graphical picture of road at night but the judgement of oncoming vehicles can be dangerous.i would suggest tourists to complete their ECR journey during daytime only.
