This is just newly open shop. Gallery, that is their concept. The shop has nice collection of furniture and house accessories such as candles, aroma therapy, paintings etc. Though my favorite part is they also accept treatment such as manicure, pedicure and reflexology. They have really good natural scrub with selection of olive, peanut butter and dark chocolate.
What to buy: furniture and house accessories such as candles, aroma therapy, paintings etc
Also they received manicure, pedicure, scrubs and reflexology

Taman Ratu Safiatudin or also known as Pekan Kebudayaan Aceh (PKA) is Acehnese traditional housing complex. I found out that in one of the Acehnese house (a building opposite an entrance gate) that they sell Acehnese Batik. It is nice material, though also expensive. I also found out that they have sofa from natural fiber such as pandanus. It is really interesting.
What to buy: Acehnese batik, sofa, Acehnese craft

Acehnese souvenir continues to be hunted by people who wish to bring souvenir for their loved ones back home. Most of the shops in Banda Aceh offer bags, sandals, clothes, key holders, wallets with Acehnese embroidery. The shops also sell Rencong, Acehnese traditional weapon. If you are hesitate that the weapon will cause you a trouble in the airport, buy a smaller version of the weapon, or key holders perhaps?
You can find most of souvenir shops in Peunayong area, also along Jalan Mohammad Jam.

The gold shop is situated in Pasar Aceh. They have good crafted gold for the traditional Acehnese door (Pintu Aceh) form of bracelet, ring and necklace. You can also swipe card here (unfortunately only limited for visa and BCA card) The only low down of this place is they are so packed of people and it makes your shop less convenient.
What to buy: Gold and Acehnese gold jewellery
What to pay: Cash and card

The market is still a favorite market for the Banda Aceh residence. The market is exactly next to the Grand Mosque Baiturrahman. Not only you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and chicken, but also this is a favorite spot for buying gold. And the girls come here to buy cheap pashmina.
