Pasir Putih, a beautiful beach in east Bali

About 5 km north east of Candidasa, 1 km off the road to Amlapura at Bug Bug vilage is a serene white sand beach. The beach is in a lovely cove with fine white sand (very hot) and good swimming. A little way out is a small reef where snorkelling is possible. There are several warung on the beach selling drinks and basic meals. It is the stereotypical 'postcard' beach - a great place to spend an afternoon. At one stage a Korean company showed an interest in buying some of the land behind the beach to build apartments. Fortunately the village elders realised they weren't getting a good deal and at this stage, the project is not going ahead.

The locals associate this beach with deoms, so it's a lot of tourists, but great for surfing and watching the sun go gown with a cold drink. There are people selling food and snacks and offering massage. Nice place to chill out for a bit

Quiet, beautiful beach just south of Padangbai

by Daihappydai Updated Apr 23, 2011

Pantai Kecil or Little Beach is a walk of little more than a kilometre to the south of Padangbai. It is a pleasant walk up a hill to a cliff top where you get views of Padangbai harbor. If you take the long way - an extra 500 m - you pass a couple of temples and enter the beach from its south side. From here you can take photos of the little bay. The beach is clean and there are little stalls set up selling drinks and a small selection of food. Take care in the water, especially with children, as the currents can be strong - it is far more exposed than Padangbai beach and Blue Lagoon further north. Never seems very crowded so pass the time away relaxing on the sand or watching ferries passing (see photo).

This is very popular beach in Bali. It`s very nice and also a great beach to go surfing at. You can even get some surfing lessons here. It`s a crouded beach but worth the visit. All the restaurants and shops is just across the road from the beach. Definitely a beach I would recommend to visit and lucky you if you live across the road from the beach :-D There is also alot of night life around here so it`s a very popular spot for the tourist.

'5 Days - 4 Nights trip over Bali Coastline! Day 3

    Pemuteran-Lovina.

We made a day of excursion to the island of Menjangan for snorkeling. We arranged the trip with one of the diving company from Taman Sari Beach Cottages that take their clients out to Menjangan Island on a boat straight from the front of the hotel. It was a great boat trip and we got a chance to snorkel at some of the good points of the snorkeling sites there on the island. It is a small island where it has some nice white sand beach, beautiful coral, colorful fish. It was really a fabulous snorkeling that we had there.

We got back to the resort around 2.30 PM and getting ready to continue our trip to Lovina for our next stay, which is around 50 km from Pemuteran.

We left the hotel at around 3 PM, driving east passing the seaside temple of Pulaki and Pabean Temple where there are hundreds of monkeys there by the area of the temple and also along the side of the road, waiting for the people to stop and feed them. We did not make a visit to the temple as those monkeys seemed to be a little aggressive.

We left the area and kept driving east towards Seririt, a little town west of Lovina. We drove straight to Puri Bagus Hotel for a night stay. It is a nice resort by the beach.

Quiet Beach Area with Lots of Water Sport

by cokes Written Oct 30, 2009

Well if you looking for a less crowded nice beach with alot Water Sport and Snorkelling I would definitely advice stay at Nusa Dua. The beaches here is very nice and not crowded here like in Nusa Dua. When it`s low tide you can walk deep into the sea and at some places it form little islands and you can do some snorkling around here.

    Dreamland Beach Changing Alot

by cokes Updated Oct 30, 2009

This was my 2nd visit to Dreamland Beach and wow it`s really looking great. There is a golf coarse and some resort being built and mall that is not yet complete. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali and surfing heaven as the waves is really great here. Not safe for swimming but never the less a great place to come and visit. I can`t wait to visit here again sometime in the future as I think it`s really going to be awesome when everything is completed. Definitley come Highly recommend by me especially if you a surfer.
