A few kilometres east of Ubud is Goa Gajah, a complex with a cave containing statues of Hindu gods including Ganesh, the elephant-headed god. The cave mouth is surrounded by an intricately carved relief of a mountain-scape complete with animals, but the entrance to the cave is through the huge mouth of a demon. Outside the cave are some beautiful gardens and some bathing pools. There is also a reset 'cemetery'. There is a small entry fee. Well worth a visit.
On the way to Ubud, Goa gajah is a stop over, if you have enough time before reach Ubud, called on Goa Gajah a few moments
