This is a very beautiful place to visit. It takes about 2 hours or so to get here. The place suprises of the Kintamani Volcano and Batur Lake. The scenary here is really very beautiful. The weather here is abit cooler then being in place like Denpesar. There is many restaurants here with great views of the panorama.

Lots of hawkers and cheaters everywhere!! after many lies and inflated prices regarding transport we eventually went to lakeview hotel kintamani which was a very good price with a little bartering and the guy was hilarious. here's a tip if you do get taxi from there, take him some condoms! it was a long conversation regarding contraception, he is so funny though.

My visit to Kintamani is disappointing as it was spoiled by the very aggressive hawkers.
We have to resort hidding into a restaurant to view the crater Mt Batur Volcano and Lake Batur. Even that the sarong sellers were waving at us to and shouting "ay u look here" and didnt let us eat in peace.
Give the hot spring a miss. Its a tourist trap. The water were piped into an a small area with cemented walls. It is more like a pond swimming with locals.
