Be careful if changing money at the Wartel at 86 Jl Danau Tamblingan, directly opposite the Besakih Beach Resort. (Also offers car hire and is a photography shop as well). Even though it is an authorised, and supposedly reliable office, a staff member has been known to cheat customers. Do not give them any change during the transaction; insist on a fully completed receipt for the exchange; and count the money very carefully before leaving the premises.

 Danau Tamblingan is the westernmost lake inthe Bedugul area. It is not so easy to find the access to its shore. We did not have time to go down to this lake. Maybe next time.
