Jimbaran Restaurants

I strongly do not recommend anyone to go there for seafood. Had a bad experience from the service and quality of the seafood. They have very bad service attitude. They do not provide fresh seafood. Their seafood is over charged. I have paid USD$89 for a set meal for two person. If you want good quality and value for money seafood go to Seafood House at Kartika Plaza Street, Kuta Bali. www.rama-restaurants-bali.com. The chef is from Malaysia. He is very friendly and does not over-charge. Try the Beijing duck, stone fish, lobster and other seafood You will be able to differentiate the quality and service from this restaurant.

Favorite Dish: Nothing good about the restaurants in Jimbaran. People are less friendly and they do not know how to cook fresh seafood. Grill will only make the fish meat dry. Ask them to steam the fish and they will tell you that it is not fresh enough for you to steam the fish. Why do we go to seafood restaurant and eat non-fresh seafood???? That is very absurd.

Warungs are all along the beach. We arrived before the fishermen had come in with their catch, so we waited. It was worth the wait.
When the seafood arrived we picked out what we wanted them to cook. It was grilled over a bed of coconut husks. Yummm
They did charge tourist prices here but we couldn't complain about $10 each.

Favorite Dish: We enjoyed the fresh fish, lobster, and prawns. The side dish of greens were delicious.

When you walk the beach road , circling jimbaran Bay, you will realise the dozens and more fish-restaurants with their huge rows of tables along the sandy beach.
You can practically get the whole Balinese fare: Bami Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Fried Rice , Satays and all the vegetable starters.
One dish you must not miss: the excellent grilled fish, mostly various catches of the day and - by advance order - lobster any style!

On Jimbaran Beach it's plenty of sea food restaurant where you can choose your own fish and they cook it for you. i've tried almost all of them and the best is TEBA CAFE'.
good food fair price. fresh fish.

Favorite Dish: grilled red snapper. chumi chumi goreng ( fried calamari ). and grilled prawns.

Grilled seafood dinner on the beach with our toes in the sand, watching magnificent evening sky while sipping a freshly picked coconut juice. What a way to remember Bali....

The menu consists of mainly seafood, what else...
They sell by the kilos, so make sure you check the weights of the lobster, or crayfish, garoupa, stingray, prawns, squids before you confirm the order.

We ate at the Warung Roma. The costs were as follows, all are Rph per kg-

Lobster - 150,000
Prawn - 140,000
Squid - 40,000
Fish - 35,000

Favorite Dish: Cumi goreng tepong. Actually, they recommend this for kids, but nonetheless, I liked them too.

it's dining on the sand by the beach with sky as the roof.
when you come to the place first you have to choose you fresh fish etc and they will weight it. then pick your table, the closer to the water the better.
most of the seafood is cooked with bbq style and they will serve with rice and vegetable for free. while waiting they also will give you peanuts.

don't come during lunch, it's too hot to stay outside.
don't come alone, you will get desperate

Besides the Segara Cafe Fresh Grilled Seafood, the Pandai Sari Fresh Grilled Seafood Cafe located along Jimbaran Beach is another place with very delicious and fresh seafood which you can consider trying. This restaurant was recommended by my Indonesian friends and we had a very good experience with the food, ambiance etc.
