This is one of the best seafood restaurant at Jimbaran and it was really an enjoyable experience dinning there. The catch is fresh from the sea and includes lobsters, king prawns, groupa, snappers, mussels, squids, barracudas etc. The price goes by the kilogram and not really that cheap, but the good taste and ambience are worth dinning here. This restaurant opens from 9am to 11pm daily.
Besides the Segara Cafe Fresh Grilled Seafood, the Pandai Sari Fresh Grilled Seafood Cafe located along Jimbaran Beach is another place with very delicious and fresh seafood which you can consider trying. This restaurant was recommended by my Indonesian friends and we had a very good experience with the food, ambiance etc.
Warungs are all along the beach. We arrived before the fishermen had come in with their catch, so we waited. It was worth the wait.
When the seafood arrived we picked out what we wanted them to cook. It was grilled over a bed of coconut husks. Yummm
They did charge tourist prices here but we couldn't complain about $10 each.
Favorite Dish: We enjoyed the fresh fish, lobster, and prawns. The side dish of greens were delicious.
Grilled seafood dinner on the beach with our toes in the sand, watching magnificent evening sky while sipping a freshly picked coconut juice. What a way to remember Bali....
Favorite Dish: One and half kilo of snapper, a kilo of king prawns, a handful of calamari with stir fried vegetables and 4 bowls of 'sambal matah' chilis and drinks for 2 persons, cost Rp. 150,000 to Rp. 180,000,-
South of Kuta, near the airport, you have the Beach of Jimbaran. White sand and a lot of Seafood Warungs. You can choose your own fish and they will put it on the BBQ.. Served with white rice and kankung.. Great ambience.. Sea breeze, candle light, feet in the sand, lovely food... Need I say more..
Favorite Dish: everything was delicious....
The menu consists of mainly seafood, what else...
They sell by the kilos, so make sure you check the weights of the lobster, or crayfish, garoupa, stingray, prawns, squids before you confirm the order.
We ate at the Warung Roma. The costs were as follows, all are Rph per kg-
Lobster - 150,000
Prawn - 140,000
Squid - 40,000
Fish - 35,000
Favorite Dish: Cumi goreng tepong. Actually, they recommend this for kids, but nonetheless, I liked them too.
On Jimbaran Beach it's plenty of sea food restaurant where you can choose your own fish and they cook it for you. i've tried almost all of them and the best is TEBA CAFE'.
good food fair price. fresh fish.
Favorite Dish: grilled red snapper. chumi chumi goreng ( fried calamari ). and grilled prawns.
it's dining on the sand by the beach with sky as the roof.
when you come to the place first you have to choose you fresh fish etc and they will weight it. then pick your table, the closer to the water the better.
most of the seafood is cooked with bbq style and they will serve with rice and vegetable for free. while waiting they also will give you peanuts.
don't come during lunch, it's too hot to stay outside.
don't come alone, you will get desperate
recommended for honeymoon
Favorite Dish: all kind of seafood, i love them all!!
I strongly do not recommend anyone to go there for seafood. Had a bad experience from the service and quality of the seafood. They have very bad service attitude. They do not provide fresh seafood. Their seafood is over charged. I have paid USD$89 for a set meal for two person. If you want good quality and value for money seafood go to Seafood House at Kartika Plaza Street, Kuta Bali. www.rama-restaurants-bali.com. The chef is from Malaysia. He is very friendly and does not over-charge. Try the Beijing duck, stone fish, lobster and other seafood You will be able to differentiate the quality and service from this restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Nothing good about the restaurants in Jimbaran. People are less friendly and they do not know how to cook fresh seafood. Grill will only make the fish meat dry. Ask them to steam the fish and they will tell you that it is not fresh enough for you to steam the fish. Why do we go to seafood restaurant and eat non-fresh seafood???? That is very absurd.
When you walk the beach road , circling jimbaran Bay, you will realise the dozens and more fish-restaurants with their huge rows of tables along the sandy beach.
You can practically get the whole Balinese fare: Bami Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Fried Rice , Satays and all the vegetable starters.
One dish you must not miss: the excellent grilled fish, mostly various catches of the day and - by advance order - lobster any style!
Favorite Dish: Grilled Red Snapper, Lobster
Jimbaran Beach has got a brand-new section with seafood restaurants: “Kelan Beach” located at the very northern part of Jimbaran Bay. Kelan Beach is more relaxed than the crowded southern part of Jimbaran Bay and only Kelan Beach is overlooking the colorful fishing boats in front the traditional fish market. At around 6pm watch the beautiful sunset there.
Favorite Dish: Most restaurants at Kelan Beach have aquariums with live seafood to choose from. Order it steamed, grilled or fried and watch the cooks preparing it. Then have a seat at a table on the beach with your feet in the sand and enjoy!
Very clean place, nice terrace, good selection of seafood. Located at Kelan beach, away from the hustle that's more south on Jimbaran bay. Great view over the bay, we sat at a table next to the ocean and found our food very tasty. On a side note: they accurately weighed our fish and did not cheat on the scale, and later we got the same fish on our plate. Much appreciated!
Use their free shuttle service to go there, otherwise your cab could drag you to other places where he get lots of commission (probably cut from your portion).
Favorite Dish: Seafood basket: grilled snapper, king prawn, squid satay, crab, lobster. Not overcooked, tasty, good value for money.
