the Beach at Jimbaran is less visited by tourists but the waves here are less strong than in Kuta, In fact, Jimbaran hosts a number of luxe resorts at the southern end of the beach and is called the millionaire's row of Bali and the sands here are finer and more white than kuta beach and accomodations pricier too. but Jimbaran has no nightlife and most of the tourists go here to eat at the many seafood restaurants with tables and chairs set on the beach and the place get's crowded just before sunset.

a park with huge monument on the hill of jimbaran.
from up there you will get a stunning view of the island of bali especially the 'neck' of bali area. the park is actually a man made cliff limestone. it looks amazing and an excellent place to take pictures.
inside the area you can find amphitheatre, restaurant, temple and gallery.
it is advise not to come during the hot day. the sun stroke will kill you! come in late afternoon.

Choosing my seafood dinner at Jimbaran

One of the interesting when dining in Jimbaran is that you get to choose your own choice of seafood, whether it is a fish, prawn, lobster etc. One of the best fish to try is the garoupa which is big with lots of meat. The seafood comes with vegetable as well. The fried squid (calamari) is a good side dish.
