Favorite thing: Luwak Coffee/ Civet Coffee is one of the world's most expensive and low-production varieties of coffee. It is made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract. A civet eats the berries for their fleshy pulp. In its stomach, proteolytic enzymes seep into the beans, making shorter peptides and more free amino acids. Passing through a civet's intestines the beans are then defecated, keeping their shape. After gathering, thorough washing, sun drying, light roasting and brewing, these beans yield an aromatic coffee with much less bitterness. This coffee was widely noted as the most expensive coffee in the world.

Favorite thing: Two good ways of going for Kintamani tour ( ours was to cover Celuk, Mas, Batuan, Bedulu, Kintamani and Klungkung) :-
1) 1person - best that you join a group tour (you can find many offering this). about USD14 to USD16 per pax (inclusive of lunch).
2) more than 1 person - suggest you hire a driver with vehicle. We were in a group of 6, our cost for the driver, vehicle and petrol is about 250,000Rp for the whole day ( excluding lunch).
You can pick up a lot of brochures on the variety of tour packages and also on vehicle hire rates. Do note that the price quoted in the brochures, especially on vehicle hire, is to attract tourists. Reconfirm the prices with the operators and state if package offered covers lunch, entrance fee or on vehicle hire - is it inclusive of the petrol and type of vehicle used.
Fondest memory: It's not very expensive to move around in Kintamani, Bali
