Woman selling lamb sticks

Their barbecued meat on sticks is of the ebst I've ever eaten. Mostly it's lamb and they only ask 5000 Rps for 6 sticks.
It's a great in-between

Warnings and Dangers

Swarms of them - You wil be Irritated!

Persistent sovenier sellers at door of the warung

Just when you were brought to a spot to view the great scenery, and just when you disembark from your transport, swarms of souvenier sellers will crowd round you, almost forcing you to buy their goods. They are desperate, agressive and persistent - no matter how you shoo them away, they will follow you about. Once you start buying from one of them, you had it - others will come rushing to you to buy more.

There was one who was selling a chessbox. He kept saying "one dollar, one dollar". Of course the chessbox costs more than that. His calling is just to attract your attention. What he meant was each of the chess piece is one dollar and the whole set could come up to quite an amount.

If you are not interested in buying, do not look or touch the items offered, do not even talk to him, just wave your hand as a sign to show that you do not want it.

We had a group of pedlars who followed us until we went into a warung for lunch. They waited at the door (it was also raining then) and relentlessly waving their goods at us and bidding us to buy.

To buy or not to buy?, Kintamani
