this is a heaven for white and all other natural color clothes.
biasa means ordinary in indonesian but i don't think their product is ordinary.
i love their color and they use material which is cool during a hot day.

the shop is on your way to the beach, and it has green wall so it's so easy to recognize, you won't miss it.

it's a small shop near bemo corner.
you can find all kind of books mostly novel in english, but they also sell books in german, french, japanese, dutch, etc.
you can bargain for the price.
if you get bored with you books, you can sell them back here as long as the condition is good.

we know it's illegal but you can find this everywhere in kuta.
selling pirate dvd is a boom now, foreigner buy hundreds of them so it's a big bussiness.
the price is as low as rp 7000 (less then 1 usd) each.
they even give you bonus, like buy 10 get 1 free. the quality is sometimes as good as the original dvd but some of them are terrible. just avoid new movies, they're usually not good quality.

Here's the answer to those who do not have time to go round shopping for souveniers. You can pick up some good and reasonable stuffs in this chain departmental store - Matahari (means "Sun"). In Kuta, this is a popular shopping centre not only with the locals but also for the foreigners who do not enjoy "bargaining". A wide variety of local handicrafts can be found here.

you can find million of hand bag in kuta.
but if you go to joe joe, they have their own design, bright, with bead and all kind other materials.
btw they already imported their bags to many parts of the world, so they have better quality than most of the normal had bag in kuta

if you're looking for thai stuff in bali, just visit this place. it's a small boutique but the stuffs are very nice.
and it's easy to find because it's in front of pepito supermarket.
