Most people who go to Kuta end up at the Kuta Art Market at some stage. Don't be mislead by the name.... not much art here! But if you want T-shirts this is the place to come to. All the usual souvenirs are here too.
The day we were here it was very quiet. At least we weren't falling over other tourists, but we did get a lot of attention from the stall holders! They all wanted our money!!

There is a huge Matahari Department Store at the main shopping area of Kuta. Matahari is a huge department store chain in Indonesia which has many outlets all over the country.
