Well, ever since the original Paddy's was hit by the terrorist attacks, they quickly built a new Paddy's, also known as Paddy's 2. Big, spacious bar with lots of Aussies. Drinks are relatively expensive for Bali, but compared to Europe they're still dirt cheap.

I'm putting this under "Nightlife" because, even though they serve breakfast, lunch & dinner, I only drank here. Actually, their menu seems to have it all -- Greek, Thai, Indonesian, Australian, Italian, etc. There's even barbecue! In the drink area, you might want to try one of their arak cocktails! I personally was sticking to Bintang! Their bartenders, Gede & Nyoman, are quite friendly. When I mentioned that I'd just run out of saline solution for my contact lenses, they directed me to the apotek, Guardian, a few doors down from them. The restaurant/bar is open & a little more upscale than some surrounding places, but is Aussie owned & frequented.

On October 12th 2002, Bali was changed forever. There is no direspect intended to the victims and their families. I realise the Sari Club has a special place in many people hearts, for very different reasons.
However, I feel my Bali pages incomplete without the inclusion of the Sari Club and remembering a time that was. It is with some trepidation that I write this tip. Reminiscing about the good times brings a smile to my face, but equally it fills me with sadness.
"There was a time when you could turn up at the club any night of the week at any time, to find a crowd. Of course, mostly Australians :) Everyone in minimal attire to beat the heat! It seemed the thing to do was to get your jungle juice, and I'm sure many people who frequented the club would agree, that that stuff was an experience in itself. The atmosphere was catching and the scene was certainly set for a good time, and of course a late night..."

guys this show is worth going to see the girls here will keep you laughing.i always wanted to go and see a drag queen show so i had a chance this time to go.i do not like the nightlife as i do not drink and i am the type that likes to relax.but this was a great top class show an australian owns the hulu cafe i had a chance to talk to him after the show.he couldn't believe that i heard about the place from the forum.there was a lot of tourists couples male.females everyone enjoyed the show.
starts at 11.00pm till 12.30.you do not pay to get in,its only your drinks which are the same price as everywhere else.
do try and get there about a half hour before it starts as it get packed.
