As you all know Paddy's Bar was shattered to pieces when the bali bombings happened but know it is still all good and running a new Paddy's bar called Paddy's Bar RELOADED. Still owned by the same owner and staff paddy's Bar still is packed and exciting as if the bombings never happened.Paddy's is right in the heart of legian in the main busy streets. Nigthlife starts off at this place at arounfd about 11 - 12pm. Closes at around about 3 - 4pm.Theres is about 2 - 3 security guards at the front cheaking people and bags with their detecters so you will always feel safe. Kama Sutra: Live band in a club

by pharsadi

This is one of the top nightlife spot in Kuta, Bali. Just right beside this nightclub is a "Circle K" convenience store. I saw lots of people hung out there before they came in to the club. I later found out that they hungout and drank there before they went into the club to safe some money inside the club. Come by around 11 PM - midnite, that's when the crowd start to go down to the dance floor. The live band performs 3 to 4 songs before they take a break. They sang good too when we were there. There is no admission fee, but one needs to buy a drink to get in.Oh, one thing you need to remember, Thursday nites are ladies nite. Very casual... sandals, shorts, and shirts are perfectly fine..

Putra Bar: Live Music Lounge

by pharsadi

When you just want to relax, listen to good music, have good conversations with old friends and new friends, even if you want to showcase your musical talent.... this is the place...This bar has schedules of live music performances. When we came there, they were playing accoustics. We could request songs, and sang along with them. There was one of the visitor who brought a harmonica and he just came up to the stage and played along with them. Overall, is a very nice place to hangout and have a cold beer.. Very casual ... sandals and shorts are ok..

Kuta - Legian: Full day party

by Rinjani

I asked around where is the hottest spot for nightlife in Bali. Almost everyone I met said “Legian, Kuta and Seminyak”. Some said Nusa Dua is also one of the hot spots, but more into top end. Kuta-Legian is very life at night. It’s happening place. Some places apply cover charge for entrance. On Saturday night, along the street you will find dress up people ready for party. Some bars are open for 24 hours. It’s a full day party fellow! Depend on the clubs

WHEN STAYING IN OR VISITING KUTA AND ARE LOOKING FOR A BAR WITH SOME MUSIC AND CHEAP DRINKS YOU COULD DO A LOT WORSE THAN THE WIG-WAM BAR.WE CAME ACROSS THIS BAR WHILE WALKING DOWN LEGIAN STREET. Getting the Arak Attack

by balisunshine

Like in most places in the world,Bali has its own specialty drink.Called the Arak Attack, this drink is made of 40% local palm spirit and sprite.(This is serious stuff!)The liquor is,distilled from the fermented drink. With that traditional brew,it may get mixed with a fruit or lime juice. But be warned, not a wise therapy for those with an ulcer.Another combination with Arak is,lemonade, OJ, honey and/or lime juice, which can be quite tasty…but bring on the hang over!If this local drink catches your fancy, try visiting the highlands of Bali, east towards Karangasem, where the local villagers have their own processing plantsright in heir kitchens or in their back yards. After the tasting, just make sure you now how to get home.

The Junction in August

by balisunshine

August comes around, and the population of Seminyak swells, with Italian, French, English speakers and others. From hot cuties, to superb beauties,of all ages and styles, they are all here to have a good time.Bringing plenty of action to what at other times can be a very serene island.A particular party that has been held since 2004bringing great house music DJsfrom various corners of the world, spinning away at sunset, at night, and of course for after hours, for those who can not get enough. These events are usually held at great venues. So, if a little bit of partying is on the ‘To Do’ list, then August is definitely the time to come. And don’ forget to dance the night away at The Junction House Music Festival Casual

IT'S ROCK: BALI - HARD ROCK CAFE

by RoyJava

Balinese love this place! Indonesian tourists, too. Here it is, international, regional and national acts grace the Hard Rock Cafe stage every night of the week. It's one of the biggest, and hottest live music venues in town. Friday and Saturday until 3 am, Sunday until 2 am. and there is a Hard Rock Hotel, too (opened at October 3, 1993). Hard Rock only? Nope, at Valentine's you'll see couples sitting at candlelight tables ... listening to a silky voiced crooner singing love songs! *smile* ... Kuta's the place where anything goes ... with a lot of fun!

Bali & Hollywood: Planet Hollywood Bali

by RoyJava

Wanna explore an international after dark eve? Try the Balinese Kuta Planet Hollywood, Bali's newest entertainment center! It's fun in the DFS (Duty Free Shops) Bali Galleria complex, not yet completed, though worth a night (opened August 17, 2001). Live Top 40 bands and special guest performers from around the Indonesian islands will not disappoint you, having a long drink and a great grill till 2 am (dining room and "whirpool" bar). There is "cinema memorabilia" and watch the Sky room with a 9-meter dome ceiling with fiber optic lighting ... Whatever, wear your singlet, sarong, or get dressed, it's your choise ...;o)))
