Kuta / Legian Nightspots

by yipsufen

At night, Kuta street comes alive with many shoppers and tourists. Kuta with its markets, street vendors, night clubs, hotels, restaurants, bars and plenty of entertainment is full of non stop action. If finding a bargain to bring home or you just want to relax on the beach or perhaps even party till you drop then you'll find Kuta is everything and more. Some famous Australian brands like Quicksilver, Roxy, Rip Curl, Billabong are easily available here. However, there might be some counterfeit items available on the market.Fast food joints are McDonald's, KFC and A&W. Shops usually close after 9pm.

Partayyyy

Kuta is just littered with bars and clubs where you can spend all your hard-earned cash on endless nights of wild inebriation and drug-induced stupor. Personally I like Mbargo because of the energy and the cute boys ( hahah ). Nevermind that they hadn't changed their music in the last eight months! Oh and they will play techno one minute then hip-hop all of a sudden so it can be a bit of a downer (especially if you only like one kind of music). But Mbargo is filled with cool and friendly people from all over the world and making friends in the middle of the dance floor is just all part of the fun.My hands-down all time favorite place though is KU DE TA in Seminyak. Again, we wouldn't have even known of the place if not for our Indo friends. The security is really tight so you can be assured of the safety and "non-bombing" of the place. The bar/resto is beautiful and the people are...

Bali Aussie Bar: Bali Aussie Bar

by slasty

Bali Aussie is pretty much an institution of Bali. The Bar is located on Jalan Legian and is deck out in green and gold. The Bar has a very relaxed feel and is very popular with regular tourists. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. The drinks expecially the fish bowls and jam jars are huge and cheap. If you want some Aussie food they have regular theme nights with roasts and pies and so on. Great spot to sit and watch the world go by. Whatever you want as long as it something

Hard Rock Hotel: Great Shows

by pnavrus

On certain days , they have dance and other shows.Free and world class entertainment. Don't mistake this to Hard Rock Cafe which is located nearby, which charges for entrance but was a big dissapointment. None

Kamasutra: Teenagers hangout on Weekends

by zafilm

Crowded with local teenagers and youngsters on weekends, especially on Saturday. Live band performing and really not that bad. The dance floor are average but the people inside the club makes atmosphere more alive. I find that the drink menu here just abit expensive.Cover charge= 1st drink to be order upon entry to the club. Casual

Kama Sutra: Kama Sutra

by namidub

I was told by some locals that Kama Sutra is currently one of the top club to be at.So i checked it out.The setting was nice, music was also good. The only drawback was the crowd. It was Saturday night yet there werent many (i mean not packed).Maybe the bombing had something to do with this. The band performed played wide array of music, including a Bule (white singer) singing an Indonesian song, fluently. :-) That made the crowd went whoa... No dresscode

MBarGo: M Bar Go

by namidub

Usually a place where bikini fashion shows on display, this is a hip-modern nightclub for the locals and foreigners alike.Crowds are young,20-30s..Good Music as well..Just be careful with local girls being too easy with you.. no dresscode

Center Stage HRC: Center Stage HARD ROCK CAFE

by namidub

Hard Rock Centerstage is located beside the Hard Rock Store in front of the Hotel itself. The cafe faces the Kuta beach. The best liveband performance offered in Bali as they say,I must agree with the band's vocal and performance did rocked the night.Just that i think it might be better if they play a wider variety of songs, like in Kama Sutra. The band performed that night and most of March 2006 is Asia LineThere wasnt really crowded that Thursday night and i think most of the tourist who enjoys HRC here is the Asians; Singaporean,Malaysian(yeah,us),Japanese and Indonesian perhaps.A couple or two Bules (caucassian) were spotted and not so many local balinese i suppose.Overall musicwise is good, crowd werent that night. No cover charge.Free WiFi Anything goes!

by zafilm

Dejavu a very stylish bar/club on 66 Beach,Seminyak. DJ spin house tribal and funky music. I like the decor inside the club. Much more elegant and cozy. The drinks are much likely as same house price in other clubs in Bali. No Entrance fee. Close at 4am. Where as you like,be as you want....!!
