Fresh seafood is sold by the kilo, cooked anyway you want it, and served with rice, vegetables and fruit.
Though I had a late lunch here and saw some people swimming in the beach. I saw a postcard showing couples having a candle light dinner under a canopy of stars. Looking at Monkey Forest Road in Ubud, you'll never guess that there's a lovely cafe set in tropical garden settings just behind the road. Here, you get away from the shops, the hustle and bustle of traffic. Instead, you can hear the birds singing, water trickling down the various ponds and water features, butterflies and insects buzzing around the flowering shrubs and hanging plants. Trees provide cool shade and you can choose from various dining setting options.

Food here is great ranging from local Balinese fare and western cuisine. I love the homemade cakes here which is full of calorie and chocolate, just the way I like them!

after babi guling gianyar, you should try this. local breakfast with several kind of fresh seaweeds [means it's really fresh from the water, without boiled nor steamed] and the taste is so fresh and hot. be careful if you have bali belly :)
the menu in complete as follows: salad of fresh green and white seaweeds with topping chili belacan sauce, chili and lemon juice and fried peanut served with tupat [taken from indonesian lingo 'ketupat'. made from rice wrapped in coconut leaf]. and the assortments are fried eels and tum [means steamed into banana leaf] of anchovy with coconut shredded. Well as usual ...the waiter really friendly ...and they really make you happy when you havind lunch there.we try the local food ...hm...better than the hotel.you can see all the plaque and guitar all around the cafe.we even given by the manager, VIP pass for the night show...what a memory

There are a number of seafood grills along the Jimbaran Beach. I prefer the stretch closer to the four seasons resort at the left side of the beach (as you face the sea). There is another cluster on the right hand side, but the set up looked a little run-down.
Choose an evening when the sky is relatively clear, go down around 5:45-6pm and compare all the various packages from the various vendors, then settle yourself near the sea and enjoy the sunset. Then enjoy all the various grilled seafood that is brought to your table before the flies get at them! This restaraunt is located right on the beach of Jimbaran Bay, you can dig your toes in the sand while you eat. The staff was wonderful, very friendly people. You get to choose what you eat right out of the tank or cooler. We got a fresh lobster who was not very excited to be picked! We also ate a white snapper and picked out a nice squid for calamari, everything was phenominal. There were quite a few beach hawkers who would just stand in front of you, it was a little bit hard to ignore them. We watched a beautiful sunset and ate awesome seafood, it was a really good time.

I've been told that presidents and royalty dine at this restaurant whenever they are in Bali. After trying the food, I'm not surprised why!
There are two outlets, Made's Warung I is located in the main Kuta shopping belt (smaller set up), while Made's Warung II is located in Seminyak and is a little more spacious.
We ordered satay (indonesian kebads), gado gado (indonesian salad), a grilled fish and papaya rib curry and everything was delicious! They do have a western menu too, and the food must be pretty good as we noticed a number of foreigners all attacking their food with gusto. It was raining that day and we werent able to have our seafood at Jimbaran Bay.Then we were driven to Baruna by a friend.It is located on Sunset Roadm,#20
Overall the food was good and price was cheap.
There's also another Baruna in Jl Kapten Tantular Denpasar
There arent many choices so we almost ordered everything on the menu card.Grilled Garoupa fish,Flour-fried Cuttlefish,Grilled prawn,Mixed Platter (grilled fish,shrimp,prawn) and special Bali Fish Head curry.Drinks for four people + 2 extra and we paid less than 150,000 Rp. This is a very casual pizza place where you can eat in or have the pizza delivered. I have never eaten in the restaurant, but I have ordered quite a few pizzas from them.
The restaurant is fairly sterile looking- they aren't trying to be a hip spot to hang out all night. However, it is clean and modern.
They offer traditional pizza toppings along with some more creative varieties, like eggplant and feta.
The only negative aspect to Tuesday Night is that their pizza prices are not cheap. Still... it is less expensive than you would pay in a first world Western country.
What I especially appreciate is that they will make a half and half pizza, and they just charge you the total of what each half would cost if it were a whole pizza (in other words, they don't charge a premium to do a half and half).
The pizzas have been given somewhat unique names. My favorite is the one that has Canadian bacon and pineapple (I am not too adventurous where pizza is concerned.)
