Cafe Sendok: Mid range delight

by agustian

German owned and managed Cafe Sendok (means spoon) is a gem beyond the hectic legian street. attached to Mastapa Garden Hotel it boasts international flavour. As I am a lover of Indonesian food, i recommend Nasi Campur (Rijstaffel). The restaurant run by number or friendly professional staffs who never fail to say hello and smile. It also has bar and big screen broadcasts Sport event. The taste, presentationand price is just a treat! hard to miss.

Just Eating out in General.: Eating out in Bali

by BesarRahasia

There are many many choices for eating out in Bali, with some Intrnationally famous top class restaurants, with prices to match, right down to the street vendor, where you can eat as the locals do, and experience some really fine food, basic and wholesome, safe to eat, but not fancy at local prices. There are some great bars, for your refreshment, some just plain old bar, some with restaurant, some have live music others have DJ or just plain old music centre, whatever you choose, the service will be good, prices for drinks can vary enourously, so be sure to ask first, there isn't usually any bargaining in these places so if you think it's too expensive, go somewhere else. The choice of what you eat is totally up to you, there is just about everything available:Fresh seafood (expect to see fish/ lobster/crabs/prawns etc still swimming, and then you choose the one you want. ) Vegitarian...

Sami Sami @ Ritz Carlton Bali (Jimbaran): Oceanside dining

by Restless-in-kl

I have been yearning from lemongrass ice cream ever since I first tried it when I stayed at Ritz Carlton Bali. So during my recent visit, I had to have it.The hotel has not changed at all - it's still as beautiful as ever especially the Sami Sami restaurant. We chose to sit at the pavillion overlooking the Indian Ocean. Though it was a hot sunny day, there was an ever present breeze that cools us down a little bit.Food and service at Sami Sami were wonderful and the lemongrass ice cream is as food as ever! Lemongrass ice cream yum! It's an acquired taste though as my American friend did not fancy it :-)

Matahari Cafe: Seafood & Sunset at Jimbaran Bay

by henryckv

You will find many seafood restaurants on the beaches of Jimbaran Bay. All the tables are arranged in such a way that you will be able to enjoy the beautiful sunset in Bali while eating your freshly cooked seafood. After the sun has set, the waiters and waitresses will light each table with a candle so that you can continue to enjoy your dinner in a romantic atmosphere. How wonderful! After the sunset, you may feel a little bit cold due to the cool breeze. Bring extra clothing if you are afraid of cold. The grilled fish was average. The best seafood in my opinion was the grilled clams. The clams were very juicy and very tasty. The white rice was decent too.

Panorama Restaurant: Did you say duck? Crispy duck?

by henryckv

We would have never found out about this place without our tour guide's help. This place is virtually in the middle of the rice fields near Ubud. The restaurant is located in the hotel lobby, overlooking the hotel's pool and the rice fields. In my opinion, it is a very unique dining environment. The waiters and waitresses were really polite too. The specialty of this place has to be the Crispy Duck. It's crispy on the outside and yet soft and juicy on the inside. The dish is served with other condiments such as white rice, 'satay lilit', soup, fish crackers, potato, and vegetables. Don't forget to order more chili if you can take the spice!

bread talk: Bread talks

by paragianna75

It is situated inside the "Discovery Mall".You can chose and pick by yourself the pieces of bread you want and then pay.I didnt see a place to sit inside the shop so I did as everyone was doing, took the food and sit outside on the stairs watching people passing by ;) Most of the bread pieces are sweets but you can find also spicy and pizza style pieces.

Laguna Garden: Lovely

by Emile72

A very nice and cosy restaurant. Just outside the Nusa Dua main gate on the mini strip. It is cosy, they have good food and a nice atmosphere. Nothing more to say, just very recommendable. All dishes, but Asian and Western are very good.

Frangipani Bali International Fusion: Nice place

by Emile72

Frangipani Bali International Fusion is kind of in a corner of the Bali Collection, which makes it a bit more quiet, only for the good. They have good food, try the amazing kebabs sticks. Really delicious. Free pick up and delivery service in the Nusa Dua area, but don't let yourself be fooled by the guy at the restaurant, he promises a great car, but the car can barely move :) All in all, great food!

Nyoman's Beer Garden: Great German food

by Emile72

Just outside the Nusa Dua main gate, this restaurant serves quality food for quality prices. Yes, it doesn't sound spectacular to be in Bali and have a German dish, but the dishes are really good. Next to German dishes, they also serve Indonesian food, which is very good as well. It is a lively restaurant, there are always a lot of people. Not disturbing though, just a sign people like this restaurant. The have live performances from time to time. Little shot and salad bar and tax are included in the price. We paid for 2 persons usually 12-15 Euros. Free pick up and drop transport to your hotel in Nusa Dua.
