TJ's Mexican Restaurant.: Try not to burn your mouth!

by hayley_69

TJ's is a wonderful restaurant thats if you loveeeee you mexician food. Everything from the service to the preperation is just excellent. T.J.’s is a pleasant watergarden setting in Poppies I, not far from Jln. Legian. Closed off from the bustling surrounds, it really is a pleasant oasis. They have a wide selection of food to choose from even some local food is here. You will now how good it is when you see how busy it gets. Anything that is extra extra hot, i love indonesian and mexican food. All very hot.FAJITA'S is really good. Also some other dishes are:The ever-popular Tacos are excellent at T.J.’s. Here you can choose from chicken, beef or healthy beans as your filling in the crisp U-shaped corn tortilla, together with the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, sour cream and that special sauce. Served with Mexican rice, and refried beans, the secret is to eat them without sending...

Pantai Sanur Restaurant - Diwangkara holiday Villa: "Halal" Food Restaurants In Bali

by imran8852

What so special about this restaurant is that it served "Halal" food approved by Majlis Ulamak Indonesia and you can dine facing the sea. Many Muslim find it hard and uncomfortable to travel in Bali because they thought that there are no "Halal" food , the safe bet is to eat at Minang or Padang Restaurant which you can find in Denpasar and Sanur. You can even asked the food seller to pack for you (take away )In Bedugul near lake Bratan there are even big mosque on top of the hill (Al- Hidayah)and there are many Muslim Comunity there so "Halal" food won't be a problem. No favorite dish just because the food is "Halal" that is what most important for us Muslim.

KETUMBAR restaurant & lounge: Wood fire oven pizza

by traveldream

I think "Italian" is the most appropriate theme for this restaurant because their food are mostly pizza and pasta, very contradicting with the name 'Ketumbar' which is one kind of Indonesian spices.I put "somewhat unsatisfied" from a 'local' tourist point of view. As for me the price and the taste of food don't match. But I guess Western people might give a better satisfaction rating... :-) So, try it!

Bali Bale: Great Indo China Food

by lauralucci

Ok...this has to be my favorite place to eat in all of Bali. Located on Jl. Kunti, Bali Bale is the spot!!! Great food, from Nasi Goreng to Sup Pangsit!! I hit this place first thing I arrive in Bali. I am never disappointed it has such a Zen environment. The service is lovely also. Really romantic and comfortable, the problem is that if you are planning on hitting the clubs afterwords you are so relaxed from the soft jazz and dim lights that you prefer to go back to your place and have a nit cap...and enjoy the night with that special someone. My fav dish here is the Sup Pangist and the Fried Shrimp in honey sauce. But I love so many dishes...but these are my regular's. The sup is the best pansit around, even compared to the states. The shrimp are so fresh and the sauce so yummy. What is not to like.

Nasi Pecel Bu Tinuk: Tons of food you can choose

by pharsadi

This is actually not a Balinese food. This is more like a Javanese cuisine. They have a pretty unique system to order the food. Instead of sitting down, and ordering the food, you pick the food that's displayed on the counter, and they will get the food for you. Once you've picked what you wanted, they'll give you the plate and a tag displaying the price of the food you've just picked out. They have about 20 to 30 differerent kinds of food. And prices are cheap. It's best that you come during lunch time since they cook the food in the morning/afternoon. Dinner menu might just be left overs from the lunch menu. Nasi pecel, grilled chicken, spicy clam...

Putri Manis: A restaurant, a gym, and an art gallery

by pharsadi

This restaurant was actually recommended by our driver who picked us up from the airport to the hotel. It's a pretty unique place. It has a restaurant, a bar, a gym, and an arts & crafts gallery. It's a pretty weird combination, I'd say. I mean.. come on... a restaurant and a gym? I was a bit sceptical about the food at first, but it turned out ok. When you get seated, request for a seat outside.. it has a very nice view. Most of the food there comes with rice, you can choose between white or yellow rice. Choose the yellow. It's more flavorful. The food that I thought were good was the chiken satay (skewered chicken) and the grilled chicken. And the sambal mentah (raw chilli sauce)While waiting for the food, you can walk to the back of the restaurant to the art gallery. When you come there, you'll be greeted by one of their staffs and will be given informations about their arts and...

Naugty Nuri's Warung: Baby back ribs

by pharsadi

This warung (small restaurant) looks like any typical warung in Bali. However, only the looks that is typical.. the food is amazing!! And combined with the price.. I dont think anybody can beat their bbq ribs. Their steamed vegetables are good also. They steam the vegetables with garlic and a little bit of oil. Dont forget to order the "Bintang" beer. That would be the perfect combination for the bbq ribs. This place seems to be popular among tourists, especially Australian. Besides selling delicious bbq ribs, they also sell t-shirts.Remember to bring cash. They don't accept any other method of payments. Bbq ribs.. very tender.. the meat just falls of the bones

Cafe Wayan: Good place to relax

by pharsadi

After miles of walking. This cafe is a good place to chill and relax. As you see in the pictures, you sit on a bamboo carpet and eat on a very low table. The food here is a bit pricey, and I dont think it is worth the money. If you're looking for good food, go someplace else, but if you're looking to just chill and relax, and maybe have some desserts or drinks, this is the place for you. No favorite dish, come here to relax, have some drinks, and straighten your feet after miles of walking..

Bebek Bengil: You'll never forget this 'Bebek'

by pharsadi

You'll never tasted fried duck until you've tried this restaurant's famous fried crispy duck. Personally, I'm not really a duck person, but this is different. The duck is crispy up to the bones. And oh, dont forget the 'sambel mentah' chilli sauce. It's one of the best out there. Not only the main dish that's top notch, the place itself has a character of its own. It has a very spacious area with a rice paddy field at the back of the restaurant. Imagine yourself having lunch there in the afternoon, sitting down on a bamboo carpet, looking at a beautiful green rice paddy field ... just enjoying lunch.. and life.Note: See little huts in the pictures? That where you sit. Bebek bengil crispy duck and sambel mentah. Sambel mentah literally translates to raw chilli.

Menega Cafe: Candle light dinner by the beach

by pharsadi

Fresh seafood for sure. The family goes out to fish early in the morning and sell them at night. One of the locals' favorite here is the 'tracy fish'. We didn't get a taste of it when we went because they had ran out of it. The ambience and surroundings are very romantic. Tables are literally on the sands and each tables are lit by several candles. If you'd told them you're on a honeymoon when you've made reservation, they'll put you on a table that's only ten steps away from the water.Go there for dinner. You're gonna have the most relaxing dinner in your lifetime. While waiting for your food, you can have good conversation with friends, or make new friends, and listen to a small ensamble of guitars. Or you can walk around by the beach. Clams with their special sauce. The sauce has a very unique taste. The fish are also very good.
