Uluwatu Cafe: Pick out your lobster

by Stargazer1

This was before the Bali blast (just a couple of months). Didn't remember the name of the restaurant -- there are several just like on Jimbaran beach, but it's in the picture -- Uluwatu Cafe. You pick out the lobster (or other seafood) you want, and they ask how you want it cooked. Barbecue lobster.

Nelayan: Soooo great!

by Jadeqr

We dined like Kings and Queens. I even ordered a lobster dinner for two and ate it all by myself! We had appetizers, wine, dessert, soup and salad and spent $50 (including the $15 tip!!!) The US dollar is crazy in Bali. This would have cost us $200 in SF! Lobster! Lobster! Lobster!

Poppies Restaurant: Ooooooh the foood!

by CheekyDee

Poppie's restaurant is another restaurant that's been around Bali for ages. One of the unique things about the restaurant is the absolute lush surroundings of the place. It's fantastic! With trees, flowers, and pools of water all around, it is not only a feast for your stomach but a feast for your eyes! It's a wonderful place to eat and to enjoy everything that is Bali. They have fantastic seafood and Indonesian food is definitely a must. Everything! Try everything!!!

TJ's: Oh the Mexican food!

by CheekyDee

TJ's is a very old established restaurant in Bali, the expats, locals, and even visitors will know about it or hear about it from somebody! The food is good, the atmosphere is fantastic in a very laid back setting. Families are welcome as well! They have great food, great desserts and some wicked margaritas! Hmmm, everything! But the enchilada's and quesadillas are always a must!

Hu'u: Hu'u is must dining in Bali

by william_navigator

International dining with asian flare in a hip zen-balinese atmosphere. Eat in the open air main restaurant or out by the 14 meter long chill-out pool. Hu'u is pronounced "who" and is named after an island with known by surfers to have killer waves. It is a restaurant, lounge, bar and club all wrapped into one. But on your best gear for this place. After you eat stay and mosy up to the bar or go out to the garden/pool area. The Restaurant is open from 4 - 11:45 and Tapas are available from 11-2. You can make going out to dinner here an event lasting most of the night. It's also close to some other hip restaurants and bars. The food was good but you go for the atmosphere, music and scene.

Nero Bali: Nero Bali in Kuta

by william_navigator

A good Italian Restaurant in Kuta. It has a minimalist interior with gray, white and red tones. I'd recommend just getting a quick bite to eat or something to drink while you are shopping or cruising the streets instead of coming here specifically for a meal.

Ku De Ta: Ku De Ta: Best Restaurant in Bali

by william_navigator

Great location right on the beach. Expensive for Bali but you have to go at least once while you are there.International food with an asian touch. This is an experience and not just dining. After dinner enjoy a cocktail on one of the lounge chairs on the beach. A unique touch is that they light up the waves as they crash onto the beach. Sipping on a cocktail, listening to music and watching the waves is hypnotic.

The Damar Terrace: Enjoy a cocktail at The Ritz

by william_navigator

Before or after dinner enjoy a cocktail at the Damar Terrace. An open air bar surrounded by dark woods, and lotus ponds. Listen to the live entertainment while you play a game of cards or talk about your day's activities.

Ritz Breakfast Buffet

by william_navigator

We normally do not like buffets of any sort. But this breakfast buffet was really good. All kinds of fresh fruit and asian dishes that you would never see in a European/North American breakfast buffet. Noodles for breakfast?-Try it. One of the great things was that during breakfast we were serendaded by the relaxing melodies of two Balinese gamelan players. Fresh everything

Teras Kayu: Excellent food cheap price

by pnavrus

I accidentally discovered the shop while driving around Tuban area. Food was cheap, HALAL and tasty. They even have a DELIVERY SERVICE ( I guess if u are living nearby ).The walls are covered with comments from customers. It appears as if most of the customers are Japanese. The ambience is nothing to shout about. Ayam Bakars kicap- roasted chicken with soy sauce.
