Miscellaneous:
Because of it’s quiet village life,
it may be wise to bring
some provisions when visiting Balian.
Having a car or a motorbike will allow you to explore the area.
Books, reading materials, DVD’s, CDs
if you seek to have some sort of entertainment.
Special snacks you might like,
any medications that may be needed, liquor.
Cash money would be wise too,
since the nearest ATM is located in Tabanan.
Don’t rely too much on the local shops to have all that you need.
Luggage and bags:
A small daypack will hold all that you might need for this short drive.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear:
Wear lightweight cotton clothing and wear a long skirt or bring a sarong.
This will keep you from having to wear one that is furnished at the temple.
Wear comfy walking shoes. Sandals are fine as long as they are comfortable.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies:
Disposable tissue will come in handy.
Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent just in case.
Photo Equipment:
Bring everything you will need for the day.
