Even if you don’t plan
to stay at the Bvlgari Resort,
and taking time out for a romantic dinner
with that special girl is
on your list of ‘things to do list’,
this may be a choice for ‘that’ special night.
Once you have arrived to the reception,
request for a golf cart to
drive you down to the restaurant.
Romantic, soft lighting and candles
adorn the open air bale restaurant
surrounded by ponds.
The menu consists of
classical Italian cuisine prepared by the
finest imported Italian products
and some of Bali’s organic produce.
Dishes are beautifully presented
and items on the menu include dishes such as:
Antipasti ranging from 150,000 – 220,000 Rp
Soups 140,000 Rp
Pastas and Rissottos range from 170,000 – 320,000 Rp
Main Dishes range from 300,000 – 600,000 Rp
Open only for dinner
36 seats are available in the restaurant,

Prices are reasonably higher than
most other restaurants in Bali,
but comparable to western countries.

could be a wonderful option.
The bar’s decoration is smooth and sleek,
offering views facing Dreamland.
At a higher level,
neighbourimg the swimming pool
is a bale covered restaurant,
with a small terrace providing
the best view from the property.
Including sunsets around June – August.
Perfect for the romantic couple.
At the time of my visit,
prices ran around:
Appetizers 60,000 – 75,000 Rp
Soups & Salads 45,000 – 85,000 Rp
Main Dishes from 75,000 – 160,000 Rp
A great venue for certain,
smaller wedding receptions or parties.
They also provide luxury villas.

is 3D Warung.
This small local,
Balinese restaurant offers
some of the most
economical prices to
visiting surfers.
Dishes include:

Chicken Dishes from 7,000 – 10,000 Rp
Fish Dishes from 14,000 – 25,000 Rp

There are so many cafetaria lined up along Uluwatu Parking Lots which sell soft drink, coffee, snack, mineral waters, cold drink etc
Favorite Dish: In a hot climate condition, especially during the summer, please enjoy a fresh green coconut drink which was available on all Cafetaria at Uluwatu Parking Lot, its cheap, you only pay Rp. 6,000,- for this unique drink of tropical countries

A new restaurant that
just opened is Warung Rakuan Asia.
It is conveniently located
on the main street after Bingin
and before Padang Padang
near the Mexican food place.
There is a variety of Thai specials
such as spring rolls,
an assortment of curry dishes,
noodles, etc and it is reasonably priced.

Right across the way
from Blue Point offering similar view,
is Ketty Warung and Spa.
Not sure how much of a spa this place is,
but it definitely offers a cheaper menu.
But is you’re planning
not to move from Surf City down below,
you’ve got basically everything you need.

An amazing stop
to make for lunch is
at Blue Point.
Not that the food is spectacular,
but on a good surf day,
the views definitely are.
It becomes like a form of mediation
seeing the surfers playing
with these powerful waves.
Your lunch break may
become longer than usual,
because of the trance you enter

A favorite spot to eat
amongst the visiting surfers is
Yeye’s Restaurant.
The menu contains a variety of choices such as:
Starters ranging from 9,000 – 15,000 Rp
such as the Spring Rolls at 9,000 Rp
Salads ranging from 15,000 – 19,000 Rp
including Seafood Salad for 18,000 Rp
Soups ranging at 15,000 Rp
including Pumpkin Soup% and Fish Soup
Main Courses and Indonesian Dishes
ranging from 20,000 – 30,000 Rp, including:
Sirlion Steak at 30,000 Rp
Grilled Fish in banana leaf at 22,500
Pan fried Chicken breast with
mashed potatoes & mushroom cream sauce at 27,500 Rp
Favorite Dish: They also offer Thai Special Dishes ranging from 24,500 – 45,000 Rp.
A few dishes made with Indian Curry ranging from 18,000 – 29,000 Rp
Pasta, Pizzas, Jaffles, Burgers, Sandwiches, Pancakes,
and yes, of course…dessert!!!
On Thursday nights they offer special BBQs
that include Chicken, Seafood, Sausages, Steaks, Kebabs
from 30,000 – 45,000 Rp.
This restaurant is also a great hang out at night,
with abed and Tv playing DVDs about…SURFING!!!
This is one of the safer/cleaner places to eat.

for a seafood BBQ at Bingin,
then you can place you order
with 24 hours prior notice at Didi’s place.
He will build a fire on the beach
to cook your meal and it will be served
at one of his outdoor tables.

If you plan to alienate yourself
in the Bukit area and still want to keep in touch,
do not fret, there is internet.
One great internet café is the
Jiwa Juice Internet Café
with several computers available,
fresh baked breads, juices, teas and coffees,
and plenty of other goodies.
They also have a bulletin board,
where you may find advertisements
for places to rent, surf boards for sale,
and activities that are offered.
