ukirsari Says: As the Jakartans [or coming from other big cities :)] who always have busy days, finding 'desa' and 'kampung' [village] becomes a nice experience. Desa Cikoneng is one of these category. Find the jajanan [traditional snacks] and local souvenirs here.
ukirsari Says: After the big [giant!!!] eruption at 1883, Krakatau [Krakatoa] has a new volcano called 'Anak Rakata'. Both of them can be reached from Anyer and Carita [takes around 3 - 4 boat ride] or Bandar Lampung [2 hours ride].
Beaches, the main destinations
ukirsari Says: There are 3 beaches situated along the coastal zone of Anyer. They're: Pantai Anyer, Pantai Karangbolong and Pantai Carita. Every beach has their own unique but all of them are the perfect places for waiting sunset.

ukirsari Says: Another way to reach Anyer - Carita is by bus. Take a bus from Pulo Gadung Terminal [you can also wait nearby the entrance of tollway Kebon Jeruk to Tangerang] to direction Anyer. Approximately 2 hours ride. Then to go around you can hire ojek [motorcycle riding].
Just take a tollway and ... voila!
ukirsari Says: The most easiest way to reach this destination is by car. Take the tollway Jakarta, Tangerang, Merak and exit at Cilegon Barat.
ukirsari Says: Even 'separated' by tollway with Banten Lama and Banten, people of Cilegon, Anyer and Carita also Bantenese. Carita and Anyer are parts of Banten Province. Old Baduy villages can be reached from Anyer also. Speaking a bit Sundanese will be nice here :) The people are...
ukirsari Says: Beware to go swimming at the beaches. Several places [like Anyer] is prohibited for this activity because the beach has sharp reefs in the shallow water. In other case, the waves also quite dangerous. Read the signboard first before do the water activities.

ukirsari Says: Even small, Cilegon is an industrial city. Beware with containers and trucks during the trip Jakarta to Anyer/Carita. Meanwhile in the down town, you can find so many motorcycles and angkot [mass transportations] everywhere. Sometimes they're driving fast and not using...
