Padang Food is one of Indonesian Cuisine from West Sumatra, it was spicy, hot and plentifull choices, from sea food, beef, chicken, fish, vegetables , they prepare many many plates on the table, but don't be surprised, beacuse we can choice what we like, and they only count the pieces food we eat
Favorite Dish: Padang food welknown among indonesians are Rendang Daging, beef with coconut milk sauce, Kepala Kakap merah, a head part of Red carp (sea carp) with coconut milk sauce, red chilli, and many others

transliteration from angkutan kota shorted as angkot. the yellow car, contain of 12 passengers is ready to take you around tangerang to west jakarta districts, such as kebon jeruk [place where i am working]. and it takes about 2 hours ride and the situation of the roads is closed to ... chaos ... because pretty hectic. mon dieu ... but what can i say? i live here :
other transport mode: metromini, just like minibus. or, fancy enough to across the toll-way? there can be found buses from merak - tangerang - jakarta destination and it's only takes less than 30 minutes.

Fondest memory: speaking about the name of 'tangerang', i know when i was 4 years old, whenever start my reading activity. i read every words or character that matching in my eyes. so everytime my parents reading magazine, books or newspaper, i will take a sit on their lap and try to read anything.
one of the words that i still remember is taken from a novel [my mum's] entitled 'seribu burung layang-layang di tangerang' [a thousand swallows flying over tangerang] by sri subakir. i wonder "it must be a nice place where the birds flying in the morning or evening. but it's 180 degrees different when i finally stay here. so hectic and almost all of the districts here contain with housing complex, in cluster types.
and based on the properties booming in every corner of tangerang, can be imagined how many public transports and private cars go in and out in the morning and evening!
