Photo Equipment: zip lock bags (for use in protecting your camera equipment, etc)
Miscellaneous: The family who lives at POKDARWIS shelter usually can arrange trekking supplies; otherwise bring rice, instant noodles, sugar, tea, coffee, eggs, biscuit some tins of fish or meat (and a can opener!), fruit and anything else that keeps you ticking. It’s better to buy most of these supplies in Curup, where it’s cheaper and there’s more choice. Take plenty of water, matches, a flashlight and a stove.

Luggage and bags: Locks for your luggage – it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: In Curup and most parts of Rejang Lebong region, the rainy season falls between October and April. Rain tends to come in sudden tropical downpours for a few hours, but it can also rain all day (peaking from January to February).
You should bring your lightweight, lower-ankle length hiking shoes. Quick-drying trousers will work well. Don’t forget your rain pullover jacket and a waterproof cover for your backpack. Bring warm clothing – warmer if you’re headed to higher elevations like Mount Kaba.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring toothpaste, toothbrush, bodywash, shampoo, toilet paper for the eventual emergency, and anti-bacterial gel for use afterwards. Travelers’ First Aid Kit, Anti malaria tablets if going rural, analgesic pills, antihistamine pills for any allergic reactions, mosquito repellent.
Photo Equipment: Zip lock bags (for use in protecting your camera equipment, travel documents, etc)
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Flashlight

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Dentals floss, shaving cream and tampons are hard to find here, so bring your own.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Don't forget to bring a flashlight, mosquito repellent lotion, etc.
Miscellaneous: It is important to stay connected. If you think that you will need to make telephone calls during your tour in Indonesia, I suggest you to bring a cellular phone and buy a local SIM card for your communication needs. If it's possible buy a Telkomsel "Simpati" or an Indosat "Mentari" SIM card, they have wide coverage area and have cheaper rate for both local and International calls.
