Cafe Dedaunan is located in the middle of Kebun Raya (Botanic Garden) Bogor. Walking arround Kebun Raya itself is a wonderful experience. Finding a nice cafe located in the middle of it makes everything perfect.
Walking around the garden in the whole afternoon, having early dinner at dawn, watching sunset and going back to the entrance gate by the torchlight...an unforgetable experince.
Favorite Dish: -Nasi Ulam: a Balinesse local food. Consisting of Rice, tuna fish, and chicken covered with traditional flavour.
You can also ask for standard European food (steak or lasagna).

this is one of the most famous street hawkers in bogor. always crowded. the main dish is chicken noodle but there are several other chinese food. they're cheap and yummy.
just be careful during rain season, since the place is open place.
bangka is the name of an island near sumatra, so this noodle is originally from there.

the restaurant is famous by its death by chocolate cake.
the cake is quite big (can be eaten by 4 people) so most people take it home.
it tastes so chocolate, so it's enough to eat only for a couple of bites.
the shape of the cake is quite funny, it's grave like with tombstone.
beside the cake you also can try all kind of spageti.

I found out this place through a friend, and went with my family there, it turned out to be a great place for family, not just the food is great, the atmosphere is fantastic. It's located on a VALLEY and You can see MOUNT SALAK from here, unobstructed, and you can also fish in the surrounding gazebo ponds and even feed their collection of large size catfish and carp. Oh yeah, we dine in one of the gazebos over the pond, Lesehan Style, (that's eating the traditional way with no table) They played a Sundanese flute music which was very calming.
Favorite Dish: Ohh.. the Grilled Gouramy, Freshly caught that is and the deep fried squid, I wanted to try the spicy grilled gouramy but finally opted for the sweet grilled one because my kid can't eat spicy food, ... yet :), and we had the coconut drinks, so refreshing.

i love the interior! it's happy and colorful :)
you can sit inside with aircon room or outside by the garden under big umbrella (but it's too close to the road).
their main dish is steak, mostly beef, but you can order fish and chicken too.
the one that i tried was fish of the day (in the picture). it's actually just fish steak.

it's a cafe with dark interior and big movie posters.
beside drink, they also sell food, mostly international and local dish.
the cafe is downstair and upstair, you can watch and rent movie.

the restaurant building is made of timber with traditional atmosphere.
i recommen to sit on the lower floor where you can see the river. well, the river is not as nice as the one in bali because it's surrounded by housing buildings but i think it will be more beautiful at night where you can see the citylight.

the best thing about the restaurant is the location. it's located in kebun raya bogor, which is kind of forest in the middle of town of bogor, so you eat among the trees.
at night, there are some musician playing live with song you can choose.
the only inconviniece about it was there are lots of mosquito around.

Cold and freeze....make us starving too much. Dine in Rindu Alam rest. is the right choice. Besides dine ,u can also enjoy the venue from high hill. Watching the tea plantation and roadway from above.Really good scenery. The food is available in any cuisine. Indonesian, Eroupean and Chinese Cuisines.
Nice Food , Nice Place , Nice Weather. all in One.
Favorite Dish: Satay Ayam Hot Plate and Satay kambing. It's Indonesian specialties. It's made from Chicken and Lamb. with special recipes and peanut sauce. Yummmyyy....

It was just behind our hotel... the place isn't
exactly what I would call swinging. But there
was this smell. I could not resist , and thank God
I gave in to all my weaknesses.
Just walk into the shop , there is a little terrace
if you walk over the stones in the pool
(and leave those gold fish alone).
The things they do here with fruit and apples
are simply overwhelming. Ok , ok , my first
good cake in 3 weeks , a little bit warm and
a scoop of vanilla ice on top. I guess I was
getting a little bit homesick.
One thing I even remember better is the
yoghurt with fresh fruit in it....You need to know
that it took me 25 years before I even could
tolerate the smell of yoghurt. But this was
great to eat in this heat. Banana , melon ,
strawberry , papaya and on top roasted
unsalted nuts and some honey.....
Simple but fantastic. (if you are eating rice
for the full last 3 weeks , and you don't like rice)
