Now, after exploring all the strange-coloured lakes and boiling mud holes in Dieng Plateau, the female hobbits were hungry. They went to the nearest Warung (coffee shop) just outside of the Arjuna Temple Complex and sat down for a meal of hot coffee, Nasi Goreng and Mee Bakso. They would like to say that the meal was good with all the country-fresh ingredients but it wasn't. It tasted funny. And thoughts of formalin-laced meatballs danced in their minds*. They just drank their kopi panas ( hot coffee ) and left politely. Thank god they paid only USD2 for a meal for 2.
*A week earlier, a Jakarta television network reported that some mee baksos were laced with formalin and borax.
