Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Casual clothes. A jacket is useful if you come from a hot country, and/or when you go to high places like Lembang, Kampung Daun etc. at night, or when it rains.
Miscellaneous: Go to Gramedia bookstore on Jalan Merdeka across Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP) and look for a map of Bandung that is produced by "dnoe". It is very handy for it contains hotels, restaurants, and shopping outlets. It also shows you which road is one way. It has a list of the public vehicle 'angkot' with the numbers and routes.

Luggage and bags: Any bag will do actually. Some water proof material would be useful for rainy seasons.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bandung is cooler than Jakarta and Bali. It's a mountain area, it will be pretty cold in the mornings. Some jackets will do.
Photo Equipment: If you go to the mountain area, it will get pretty foggy sometimes (doesn't matter what season). You will see beautiful view here, but I don't think any shop will sell variety of battery. Some might sell the AA, but other than that,... you have to go to the city centre. Just get some spare in case anything happens.
Miscellaneous: Important! Mosquito repellent. You can buy it here, very cheap, very good. Seriously, you need it. They have it in two types: spray and gel. Some local brands: Autan, Sari puspa, etc.

Luggage and bags: Any type of bag as long as it is not bothersome to carry around.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Simple summer clothes. The weather is pleasant. Not too hot and not too cold but it does get slightly cold at night.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Charcoal pills.
Photo Equipment: Batteries. Most important as certain places of attractions don't sell them.
Miscellaneous: Good pair of shoes if you want to walk around Bandung.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: bandung has a cool climate, so it is wise to wear jacket (especially for tourists who come from tropical countries such as singapore, malaysia etc). but for westerners, maybe you still feel warm in bandung (but please don't wear swimming suits or mini skirts because people in bandung are very polite and are used to wear long skirts/trousers).

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: you don't have to wear sport shoes to get to the peak of Gunung Tangkuban Parahu, since you can reach it by road! and you can see its peak from a bridge.
Miscellaneous: bring your umbrella or raincoat during rainy season (november to march) - it is often raining during that time.
