This should be one of the oldest fossiles in the world.
The picture isn't very clear but that's because of the lights in there.
The Geologi Museum was quiet interesting, especially for the world famous Java-man whose skull (the real one?) is on display here.

Many museums can be found in various parts of the city, the most famous being the Geological Museum and having on show the skull of the world famous “Java Man”, as well as a fair collection of prehistoric skeletons. The postal museum, in the basement of Gedung Sate – West Java’s Provincial Government building – the Asia Africa Museum (commemorating the historic conference of 1955), and the West Java Provincial Museum --that tells the story of the cultural development of the region-- are only some of the other museums worth visiting.
