On the way to the White Crater (Kawah PUtih) you will pass by Ciwidey, a strawberry town. More or less like Cameron Highland in Malaysia. Pluck your own strawberry here... it is about rp35,000 per kg. They have packed strawberries at Kawah Putih... but it's fresher if you pluck your own.

Kawah Putih is a volcanic crater situated about 2 hours drive from Bandung. It is near to Ciwidey, a place that is very well known for its strawberry. Kawah Putih means white crater... the water in the crater is so green....and being here is like being in a fantasy....If you want to get here...try to come early in the morning...especially on weekends because by noon it was crowded with local tourists...

Kawah putih or white crater, where we can find a crater like a lake with green water....
Its a nice place to be but smell sulfur....
and this place ussualy for pre wedding photos..... ^_^
Its 1.5-2 hours from Bandung City.

Another attraction here is the Kawah Putih or white crater. After driving up 2434 m Patuha (oldman) mountain, a stunning sight reveals itself. Kawah Putih is sulphur-rich volcanic crater, which last erupted in the 12th century. It has since filled with rain water to form a huge lake which is a vivid aquamarine in color with bright yellow sulphur beaches. If youýre ready for lunch, there are some waiting food stalls and ýwarungý at the nearby Waiting Lake (Danau Patengan).
