upstairs there's a books shop. it's smaller than normal bookshop but the collection is not bad. mostly fiction. most of the books are indonesian. the price is the same as in other bookshop i think but here you sometimes can still find old books that are not sale anymore in bookshops.

For Factory Outlet in Bandung, you can find along the Jalan Dago and Jalan Riau. But if you want to find the central factory outlet for jeans, you can go to Jalan Cihampelas. And for shoes, you can go to Jalan Cibaduyut. You can take taxi around the bandung city.
If you want to include Jakarta for you shopping holiday, you can take van from bandung morning time. And come back to Bandung evening time. It takes 2 hours journey.
The best shopping place in Jakarta with good price too is Mangga Dua and Tanah Abang.

Here you can bought Indonesia Handcraft in Sarinah Departement Store, Paintings. Or you can relax in a luxury restoran with the old dutch style and athmosphere. Here you can also seeing old dutch building along the Braga Street

The most likely things to do when you are in Bandung is shopping at those fashion outlets scattered in the city, eating those many good food or hangin' out at cafes, or relaxing at your hotel's spa.

According to my Lonely Planet, the Jeans Street is a real kitch attraction.
Well, I wanted to see that but it's a very long walk from the centre.
In the end, we found it and were disappointed. The plaster statues above the shops looked to be meant for children and were ugly.
My girl friend tried to shop but realised soon that all the cheap clothes were at least ten years old.
No, we didn't buy anything but found a very good bakery on our way back

Ciwalk (Cihampelas Walk), its located at cihampelas street, where we can find so many factory outlets and also restaurant. So just enjoy ur time and shop till you drop!

Cibaduyut St. for anykind of leather goods...
Elizabeth shop at Embong St. for more better style of leather goods...

Go to jeansstreet. It's a street full of shops selling
jeans with recommended names (tommy hilfiger etc.)
Except ít's all fake. But it's nice to see and very cheap.
