Blambangan Peninsula, better known as Alas Purwo National Park is considered sacred by many people. There are many caves inside the forest and mostly used for meditationThere is a temple where the Hindu believers hold a ceremony called Pagerwesi and it's usually done every 210 days.

Old Temple

this is like one of the oldest hindu temples in Indo. it was estimated built around the Majapahit Kingdom, which is more than 1000 years ago. it's located in Alas Purwo National Park.

In Sadengan, there's a viewing tower overlooking the savannah, playground of wild bulls, peacock, wild boars, etc.

Alas Purwo restaurant

This is the only restaurant in Alas Purwo national park before G-Land.
It's located near the entrance to G-Land surf camps.

Favorite Dish: The sambal & tempe goreng are OK.
Well u can't expect too much as this restaurant is located in a remote almost isolated national park.

This is why we had to take a 4WD vehicle to G-Land. The mud was like 3 feet deep!
It was FUN tho :)

once you get to the entrance of G-LAND, you have to hire a 4 wheel drive. it cost Rp. 100K per round trip & driver included.
