I saw many of these factory outlets in Malang and it kinda reminded me of my time in Puncak. These factory outlet has good quality clothes at very cheap prices , how can one refuse to buy anything here. When you want to buy touristly stuff for your friends, then go visit the Mata Hari Mall near the central market. I found some very nice wayang-dolls, some good Cerita Rakyat-books (fairy-tales for children) and even a very cute dress for my aunt. Also Indonesian needs are very cheap (like "obat nyamuk", the stuff you use to protect your skin for mosquitos)
