Lava,poisonous gas and burning on volcano Semeru

You may hit by spewing out Lava: Volcano Semeru is still quite active, on occasion spewing out hot ash and solidified chunks of lava every 15/20 minutes. The lava is danger. Don't get too close to the crater when you are on peak zone to avoid hit by the spewing out lava. Descend before 10 clock in the morning to avoid poisonous gas: In afternoon, the wind blow to ward north side and sweep poisonous gas (mofat) to ward trekking path.It's safer to begin the trek in early morning to reach the peak early. Time limit on Mahameru Peak, the Semeru's peak is 10 clock in the morning, so descend before that time limit comes as the the wind already began to blow to ward north side.Burning on the volcano is one problem you might face in Semeru: On dry season, burning on mountain is common problem in Java including on Volcano Semeru.
