    Hold Your Breath: *S*U*N*S*E*T*

Wo does not know the sunset on any island can be just spectacular. When in Indonesia time flies and the evening is a sudden moment of going out of the light. That is the same on an island and even more sudden when facing the western direction.

On the Komodo Island it is even strictly forbidden to leave the houses on poles. So the guards watch you when walking to the small restaurant place and, returning to your sleeping place ...

So try to hire a boat with guide, and just sail out of the harbour. Turn your face to the west ... and enjoy a most spectacular sunset! Even when clouds will turn up ...

Dress Code: ... ... ... just hold your breath ;-)

Perfect party time for the dragons ...

Dress Code: That means humans are not wanted! Enjoy yourself at day-time, behave yourself at night-time.At the visitor's accommodations you can have a nice chat with the guides and other visitors, enjoying a drink and some food. When bed-time be prepared for some more visitors. Rats as big as grown-up cats try to find food, and will therefore enter your bedroom in the heat of the night!

That is why you have to hang your backpack on a hook in the middle of the bedroom, so the rats cannot come to this peg-like stuff. Watch the special-made curtain of your bed-cage that it is really closed. Some tourists complained of the rats which gnawing at their toes ...
