Reefseekers ara a reliable dive center established in Labuan Bajo. Boats and equipment are in good conditions. Guides are nice guys.

Normally the boat departs at 7:00AM and comes back in the evening. You will dive twice and rest between them for lunch.

The costs of dives depended on different factors like how many other divers were on the boat or how many dives you do.

Komodo Island is also a marine reserve with fine mangroves and coral reefs rich in diverse marine fauna and shellfish. You can have a wonderfull time snorkeling on the reef. PHKA (Perlindungan Hutan dan Konservasi Alam office) can advise you on the best spots, particulary off the North coast of the island as well the Southern Komodo.

Komodo is a paradise to scuba divers and they will find a huge concentration of marine diversity. It's funny that the local fishermen say the sharks are harmless. I won't go for it! And watch the 4 to 5 knot currents. Those are treacherous and you can't see those in the straits between the islands ...

Equipment: The PHKA may have snorkeling equipment for hire, but to be safe bring your own. Some boat-trips assure you to have dive equipment (dive tank, weight belt, BCD, regulator, mask etc.), better check it out! Diving in Komodo is totally unpredictable, so we stayed at a great snorkeling .
