The night life along Sudirman street is a unique, there are many food stall scattered,
They sell yellow rice (Nasi kuning in Indonesia) called WOKA, because the rice pack in
woka leaf, look like coconut leaf but it was not, it was a kind of palm tree called woka.
The yellow color of rice is not a chemical, it was a herbal origin, called Kunjit in Indonesia, a herbal look like curcuma or ginger. If one feel hungry at mid night, enjoy
woka, as a unique experience, and go sharing experiences too, talking any anything with local peoples
Hooks is a restaurant, club and dancing with live music.
The food is good, the bands are even better and the people are great!
In May-June 2002 I spend many evenings and nights in here. On Saturdays the Indonesian youth goes out to party. This is the best night to visit Hooks if you like a bit of a crowd. Expats also like to hang out in Hooks. The bands are usually good and it's a clean place compared to other pubs.
Don't be shy, get on the dancefloor and have some fun!
