    Steamed vegetables & fried tofu mixed with spicy peanut sauce. Served with Emping & Krupuk. One of the most popular dish in Indonesia. This is usually taken as a side dish like Acar.

    Kueh are local cake made & sold in the market. Usually taken by the Chinese for breakfast, some of the common ones are Lemper Ayam, Risole, Kueh Lapis, Kueh Ambom & carrot cake.

    a local coffee shop at Pematang Siantar for a cup of coffee and tea. The place was full of locals having their coffee.

    Pasar Rame, a famous morning till afternoon market. Mie belacan Ahai is located inside Pasar Ramai. Better wear sandal and simple clothes.
