    traditional batak house

i didn't know that some people in samosir still live in traditional house.
the house is elevated from the ground and it has a unique shape of roof.
nowadays people use tin roof but in the old time the roof is made of thatch.
below the house, between the floor and the ground there's space to prison the enemy. the enemy will be kept and feed there until they're fat, then the people eat the enemy alive!!
