Climb up TANGGA SERATUS or a STAIR with a hundred steps is worth a visit, from the top we could see a view of Sibolga downtown and the beach line with a few islands scattered on the sea, actually there are 190 steps and we could find a water reservoir on the top and a stall which sell drink and snack

The last time I went to sibolga, I remembered there was a medium sized waterfall about an hour or 2 by speed boat from Sibolga Island.

Once I get hold of the hardcopy pictures I will post them here.

Unique spottings there were a sea turtle, giant clam and on the way to the island a dolphin was even spotted near the boat! This was many years ago when there was still a direct flight from Seletar Airport in Singapore to Sibolga. Now, perhaps a flight into Medan and via domestic to sibolga should be the only way there.

Fishing is amazing too, garoupas, huge (and i really mean huge) stingrays, golden pomfrets, my younger brother caught a squid too... I'll try to find the pictures as soon as possible!!
